Ah "Pure Moods"...

Just a shame that it had to descend into "Pure Celtic Moods" and Pure Panpipe Moods". Makes me think of the Patagonian band from the Fast Show. Funniest sketch was when they began a gentle documentary on dry-stone walls in an anonymous Derbyshire-esque location and then the Patagonian band emerged from behind the wall in question. The narrator wearily sighs, "Oh, surely not..."

I've got a cd at home somewherecalled Spirits of Nature with little fluffy clouds on it and some other tracks from ads at that time, strangely including the airways one, and I think the one with the kid pearl diving. I may even still have the tape you made me a million years ago with fluffy clouds on it.

You mean this video, James?

And I take it you don't mean this commercial, Eric.

It must be a pretty good commercial if you're willing to dig it out from an old X-files tape! Yeah, why not?

Nevermind VW commercials, you should see the official promo vid for "Little Fluffy Clouds"! Early 90's video effects and a lot of drugs made sure that this ivdeo was something very odd. A very mind bending experience. The colours were red and purple and orange...

I'll check out the video when I get back home, Lig. Please make sure the link still works towards the end of next month!

Liam, if I can find the commercial on an old X-Files tape, you'd be welcome to check it out. They (like many other auto makers) did a whole slew of commercials with samples of contemporary music; Volkswagen probably did the best ones, although Mitsubishi had one that made Dirty Vegas famous (I think) before their LP was released in the USA.

I'm pretty sure Blighty got a VW advert with Little Fluffy Clouds in it; whether it's the same one Eric's talking about, I don't know.

Still no pictures, but our pc is probably too old to show them. Anyway, it's definitely The Orb, and it sounds a lot like Back Side Of The Moon, from The Orb's Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld, which I know you own.

Eric is right about the Orb. The track is "Majestic" from the album "U.F.Orb."

I haven't seen the VW commercial from the late 90's, though. I doubt it aired in the UK.
