Dead Phraseology

Has anyone noticed that no-one is referring to the internet as the “Information Superhighway” any more? This makes me happy.

    As opposed to it making you unhappy, because it means the Internet is no longer about Information, but just meaningless entertainment?

    A valid point, but I was more interested in the death of an inaccurate metaphor and a slack journalistic phrase.
